Huawei P30 Review – Know Everything About Huawei P30

Huawei P series has been building some quality devices with fantastic cameras. After the successful P20 device, Huawei has come up with P30 and P30 Pro. Talking about P30, this device is best in photography- period! With HiSilicone Kirin 980, exceptional cameras and high capacity 3650mAh battery, this device is an overall genius. But, is it the device more than photography? Can you buy it if you are looking at overall performance and not just photography? Let’s check it out in the Huawei P30 review below and you can easily buy this phone using Amazon Upcoming Sale at affordable prices.

Design and display

Huawei P30 is just like the last P20 device- premium and even better designed. It measures 149.1 x 71.4 x 7.6mm and is exactly same sized as Samsung Galaxy S10 and is little heavy too. On the front and back panel, the device has Corning Gorilla Glass to protect the device. The device overall looks premium with round edges and very sleek design.

On the bottom, you can see a USB-C and 3.5mm headphone port on the device. And, on the right, there is a volume rocker and power button. Coming with a headphone jack at this price and premium design, it is little surprising as all other devices in this range have ditched the 3.5mm jack. Also, Huawei P20 didn’t have it.

The Huawei P39 come in five color variants: Amber Sunrise, Breathing Crystal, Aurora, black, and standard white.

Coming to the display, the Huawei P30 packs a 6.1-inch Full HD + OLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution.  The device gets a teardrop notch on the middle top having a front camera in it. The colors come out with great brightness and vivid colors from this display.

Under the hood, the Huawei P30 has HiSilicon Kirin 980 coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. This is a powerful device but with such chunky battery and a little bit of setback in the processor, Huawei P30 sits back when compared to Samsung Galaxy S10 and iPhone XS. On the benchmark test, it scored 9,730 on multi-core test which was relatively low when compared to iPhone XS and S10, which scored 11,481 and 11,002 respectively. But, not to forget this device has come a long way from Huawei P20’s 6,681 points. Overall, this device runs smooth and is really powerful. The device has Mali-G76 MP10 GPU which provides great and dazzling gaming experience. Playing games like PUBG and Asphalt 8 is really a fun experience.

Coming to the cameras, the device packs a tripe rear camera setup including a 40MP f/1.8 wide-angle camera plus 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide and 8MP f/2.4 telephoto camera. For selfies, it packs a 32MP sensor for stunning selfies. The device captures amazing pictures as we saw in Huawei P20. The images come out natural, vivid, and comes out with perfect detailing and aesthetics. In the night too, you see no noise and grains in the captures. Taking selfies to give you great detailing and the pictures feel more natural when it comes to colors and contrast. All said it is a really great device with exceptional camera setups which someone won’t regret buying.

Battery life

The Huawei P30 comes with 3,650mAh battery life which will give you a typical day usage very easily with some fuel still left. There is an Optimiser function in the device which will tell if the idle apps are draining your battery or not. But, capturing photos drain battery very quickly- this is a major problem in any other phones, but this isn’t the phone which will give you such a problem.

Also, the device supports Huawei’s SuperCharge fast-charging technology up to 100W which can charge this device to 100 percent in just 17 minutes. The device doesn’t support wireless charging which is something it lacks comparing it to other flagship smartphones. In terms, of battery, great options available in the market and you can buy them using Flipkart Coupons.

Final Verdict

The Huawei P30 is an exceptional phone with a bliss camera. Yes, the Pro model of this phone is one step better than this in every department. But, P30 can’t be ignored with such crazy features. The camera is exceptional but when it comes to performance, this device can’t beat Apple and Samsung’s flagship. Also, the lack of wireless charging is something which will go against this device. So, if you are looking for a great camera with good performance, then this is the one for you. But, if you want a device to do more and not stay limited to photography, then there are many options for you in the market.
